On 22 and 23 October, 2008, the Northern New Mexico Business Expo will be held at the convention center of the new Buffalo Thunder Resort.  The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Chambers of Commerce and other organizations throughout the region in development of this event.  Special recognition goes to the Espanola Valley Chamber of Commerce which has led the initiative.   Other partners include the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation, the Taos County Chamber of Commerce, the Chama Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Espanola Valley Community Development Corporation, the Santa Fe Hispano Chamber of Commerce, the New Mexico Economic Development Department, and the New Mexico Small Business Development Center Network.
 
The event will feature business-to-business opportunities for small businesses in the area to make connections with many large businesses and organizations from throughout the State and region that purchase tens of millions of dollars of goods and services each year.  The Expo will provide small businesses with a structured forum that can give your business visibility with hundreds of potential customers in a single 8-hour period.   

The event web-site is www.northernnmexpo.com  On this site you will find information about the program, answers to frequently asked questions, and soon you will be able to register to participate in the Expo.  Discounted registration fees will be offered to Chamber members.  Our event managers indicate that you will begin seeing more and more information about the detailed program and participants around mid-August.
